He believes murals can spark dialogue, capture cultural identity, and invite everyone to see a familiar neighborhood in a whole new way.
During this session, you’ll hear how Mauricio’s creative process begins with listening—meeting neighbors, learning local histories, and weaving shared values into each design. He’ll also share why he champions public art as a tool for unity and revitalization, giving voice to underrepresented communities one paintbrush stroke at a time. Come learn how he’s painting a brighter, more inclusive Milwaukee—one mural at a time.
