We’re headed to Gibraltar MKE, a lounge celebrated for its fusion of jazz and world music. Owned by Milwaukee’s own Evan Christian, an acclaimed guitarist with a global footprint in Latin, soul, Flamenco, jazz, and R&B, Gibraltar gives us a taste of his eclectic musical journey.
The newest lounge in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, Gibraltar is a completely redesigned 2,000-square-foot corner space (once a country bar named Saloon) at the ground floor of the lux Jackson Block Apartments. The vibe is chill and artistic with a global collection of art pieces, fabrics, guitars, vinyl records, photography and an authentic London red phone booth.
